Emergency Syria Earthquake Appeal
One week after 2 earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria, it is estimated that more than 40,000 people have lost their lives and millions made homeless – amidst freezing weather conditions.
The Situation in Syria
The humanitarian situation is particularly dire for Syrians displaced by the civil war. Relief activities within Syria are in cooperation with local churches. The earthquakes have affected local communities which have endured more than 10 years of civil war.
