Freedom in Jesus

Prayer for World Outreach’s field personnel is vital! Especially during COVID-19. We have received this encouraging testimony from Sub-Saharan Africa! We pray they may encourage you too!

Please consider our Afghan Relief Ministry: Special Appeals Giving - World Outreach. You can help end hunger for a child and their family, provide much-needed medical supplies, or help with clothing and other emergency supplies. Your giving will make an impact that can last a lifetime and beyond.

Prisoners Set Free

‘’I was very stressed, violent and stubborn when I came into prison. The Word of God has totally changed my character.”

As a result of hearing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ many inmates have made their decision to follow Christ. Secret believers have increased in numbers, in both prisons. I met an ex-prisoner while purchasing items at a shop to gift inmates during evangelism outreach. The man told me that he used to listen to me share the good news from far ends in prisons and that’s how he got to know the truth about Jesus and His mission to the world. Later, this man made his personal decision to become a follower of Jesus. This man is enjoying his freedom and thankful to God for His wonderful gift of salvation behind the bars.

A young lady in a prison shared a testimony of her transformation through listening to audio bible every day. She said, ‘’I was very stressed, violent and stubborn when I came into prison. The Word of God has totally changed my character. I have decided to trust God with my life and seek peace with all people.’’

We pray you will be encouraged by these stories! Will you join us in praying for those facing trials around the globe?
