Testimony from the field | Remote Education in the Ivory Coast

Prayer for World Outreach’s field personnel is vital! Especially during COVID-19.

We have received this encouraging testimony from one of our faithful frontline workers in the Ivory Coast. We pray it may encourage you too!

If you would like to partner with us, please see below for how to give to our COVID-19 Appeal.

”In February, when all the schools in Côte d’Ivoire were closed, we asked the Lord how to face this new situation to allow the children to continue their schooling in the best possible conditions.

God answered us and with the whole team of teachers, we created a working method to allow the children to continue the school program at home, while being followed by the teachers and parents, of course, without having access to the Internet.

This allowed us to finish the school program completely, to have 100% success in the national exams, and above all, to bring the parents closer to their children.

The latter, who had often neglected their children academically and spiritually, began to take an interest and to act in their lives, helping them to memorise the passages of the Bible, which is in their school curriculum.

We see the transformation of their character and their lives every day. To God be the Glory.

Praise the Lord for his protection of these kids, in these strange times!

We pray you will be encouraged by this testimony! Will you join us in praying for the unreached people around the globe?

Would you partner with us in ministering to those in need throughout this global crisis?

We’d love to have your prayer and partnership in the important work being done all over the globe

Please consider giving to the COVID-19 Assistance Appeal to help reach more people in need!

Our missionaries need funds to help people within the communities they are endeavouring to reach. These funds will be used to purchase food, medicines and other basic necessities to help people struggling to get by.
