They received revelation
RECENTLY I SPOKE at a women’s conference in Nairobi. I taught on the person of the Holy Spirit and how we are to have fellowship with Him (2 Cor 13:14). Kenyans with animistic backgrounds struggle to know the Holy Spirit intimately. He is the lesser-known member and often only sought after for His power and gifts. The testimonies of the women were encouraging as many received revelation that the Holy Spirit longs for a deeper relationship with them.
Angela works in Nairobi, Kenya and her vision is to see Kenyan Christians discipled and know their identities in Christ.
Empowering women through skills training is one way Angela sees people discipled. Angela trains women in jewellery making which helps women to generate an income and provide for their families. Along with the jewellery making, the women spend time in Bible studies and discipleship courses.
