How you can help miracles happen!

O Bom Samaritano

World Outreach is committed to bringing the Gospel to the unreached. And that also includes caring for children.

In Mozambique, O Bom Samaritano (the Good Samaritan) provides nutrition to malnourished babies. The malnutrition is often related to undernourished mothers, while many babies are orphaned due to low life-expectancy. Mothers, but often grandparents, sometimes walk for hours with the children to receive milk, porridge, and moringa, a local food supplement. The staff also track the growth of the babies, teach the parents or grandparents the proper preparation of food, while sharing God’s love to them.

Miracles also happen! A baby born with Down syndrome was severely malnourished and nearly dying. But after some months of being part of our program, we saw the baby again. It had gained weight and is now growing well.

‘If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?’
James 2:15-16 (ESV).
