Nothing is impossible with God
“GOD TOLD ME as a young child that I would be a missionary but I thought it was impossible.” This is what one Lao underground church leader said to us after he had finished the Kairos course held in Chiang Mai. “Now I know I can. I will go back to Laos and will walk to other villages to share the Gospel with other tribes.”
This man now understands that mission means sharing the Gospel among people groups that have a different culture or language from one’s own. Sharing the Gospel in Laos is illegal and many Christians are in jail for doing just that. Please pray for them.
Chaiyot became a Christian aged 13 in Surat Thani, Thailand. He is fluent in Southern Thai (the local language), Central Thai (the national language) and English. This combination is a great asset for effectively reaching and ministering to the Southern Thai. Gayle is from New Zealand, and they met in Thailand while working among refugees.
They married in 1989, have three children and have been living in Thailand ever since.
