Experiencing love for the first time
FROM A VERY YOUNG AGE, Ripin was treated as a slave by her mother and grandmother and made to work. She was thrown down a flight of stairs and hurt in other ways. She was not allowed to eat the same food as the rest of the family and was fed the old, putrid rice. If she did not bring enough firewood for cooking, they threatened to use her hands as fuel.
However, things changed for Ripin two years ago when she came to Living Waters Village. She now feels safe living here, going to school and experiencing the tangible, healing love of Jesus.
