Emily’s journey ~ Part 1
How does God call people to cross-cultural mission work today? For 24 year old Emily Fawcett, it happened in Japan at the tender age of nine and the nation was Ethiopia. Random? Emily says, “It was seemingly so random that I was never entirely sure if it was a God thing or not. It has however, never been far from my mind since and I would think about Ethiopia for hours without knowing anything about the country.”
God’s call on our lives is far from random and has indeed propelled Emily (who is very passionate about impacting unreached people groups with the Gospel!) through her life and studies with strong faith and precision focus. With Ethiopia still fixed in her scope, she has just graduated from medical school in New Zealand with the ambition of using her skills on the mission-field.
LegacyMagazine wants you to come with us and follow Emily’s unfolding journey as she diligently pursues God’s call on her life to North Africa. Thanks Emily for sharing your journey with us!
