Doret Kruger and Salomie Kolbe are two South African ladies who are getting on their bikes to help women and children.
They’re using their passion for cycling to make a difference with a series of fundraising initiatives as their Nelson Mandela Day Challenge.
They’ll be doing 24 hour mountain bike races, road races and 3-6 day cycling tours.
You can support them with donations to help support orphans, widows and other women in need.
He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows His love for the stranger by giving him food and clothing. – Deuteronomy 10:18
Nelson Mandela called children ‘the rock on which our future will be built, our greatest asset as a nation. They will be the leaders of our country, the creators of our national wealth who care for and protect our people’.
In a broken and uncertain world, Doret and Salomie’s support will help children to survive and realise their full potential.
Doret and Salomie want to create as many Nelson Mandela Days as they can and have chosen O Bom Samaritano as one of the charities they support.
O Bom Samaritano is reaching 1052 orphans in Macua, Mozambique through their healthcare houses. They are bringing the message of God’s love and hope as a Father to these children who have lost their earthly parents.
