Angela’s story
Angela Stephens is an amazing young Australian women serving in Nairobi. One night while driving home in her car she was suddenly hijacked and marched into a dark forest with a gun against her head by machete weilding Kenyan men. Listen to her story below as she recounts the powerful testimony of God’s miraculous intervention in a desparate situation.
Angela works in Nairobi, Kenya and her vision is to see Kenyan Christians discipled and know their identities in Christ.
Empowering women through skills training is one way Angela sees people discipled. Angela trains women in jewellery making which helps women to generate an income and provide for their families. Along with the jewellery making, the women spend time in Bible studies and discipleship courses.
