When natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, floods or famines strike, we are able to initiate a rapid response to communities in need, to provide them with funds to buy food, water, medicine and to replace household goods that have been destroyed.
Micro business loans provide opportunities for women to start small businesses to sustain their families and lift them out of poverty. Over 97% of loans are repaid, enabling us to recycle the funds to other families. These loans often open the way to share the Gospel with whole villages.
World Outreach International is committed to combining social concern with witness, based on the pattern established by Jesus Christ.
We believe that evangelism involves both the declaration of truth and the demonstration of love, because evangelism and social action are distinct yet interlinked.
Our aid includes a commitment to disaster relief in partnership with World Outreach International missionaries on the ground and/or other respected charities or non-governmental organisations.
As circumstances permit, we will respond to requests from our World Outreach International missionaries for the provision of funds to support basic human rights such as food, clean water and shelter, and to assist families and communities in rebuilding shattered lives and communities.
Our long-term commitment is to help build self-sustainable local communities through the delivery of basic education, adult literacy programmes, healthcare and employment creation through micro-enterprise initiatives.
Help us to build literacy, self sustainability, and reduce poverty. We need your help!
